Monday night's confirmed goalies and the afternoon injury news: Zegras is practicing, Benson is day to day and Morrissey is aiming for the weekend.

Four games on the NHL schedule this Monday night, and most of the goalies are already known. Here's who's in net, plus the afternoon injury news, with a few good updates for your pool.

Monday's goalies

Detroit at Florida: Daniil Tarasov (1-0-2, 1.40 GAA, .940, 1 shutout) is confirmed for the Red Wings in his return to Sunrise against his old team. At the other end, Jacob Markstrom is back for the Panthers, as we reported this morning.

Vegas at Boston: Jeremy Swayman (7-3-1, 2.35, .912) is confirmed for the Bruins. Carter Hart is expected for Vegas, but not confirmed yet per Daily Faceoff.

Colorado at Chicago: Spencer Knight (4-7-0, 3.21, .897) is confirmed for the Blackhawks. Mackenzie Blackwood is expected for the Avalanche, no confirmation so far.

Calgary at San Jose: Dustin Wolf (2-4-0, 4.39, .847) is confirmed for the Flames. Yaroslav Askarov (4-5-0, 3.01, .900) was the first goalie off the ice at the Sharks' morning skate, a good sign he's getting the net.

Pool take: Tarasov doesn't play much, but he's been excellent when called on. Wolf is still a risky pick with that 4.39 GAA. Looking ahead to Tuesday, Daily Faceoff already has Sergei Bobrovsky (3-5-2, 3.28, .885) confirmed for Toronto against Utah.

Injuries and lineups

Trevor Zegras (Flyers): he practiced Monday after leaving his last game with a lower body injury. Great sign for a guy with 13 points in 16 games, 6 of them on the power play.

Zach Benson (Sabres): undisclosed injury, he missed practice and is day to day. He has 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists) in 14 games. Better news in Buffalo: Jiri Kulich (concussion) and goalie Alex Lyon (upper body) are back at practice. Konsta Helenius (upper body) is week to week.

Josh Morrissey (Jets): he practiced in a non-contact jersey and is hoping to return by the weekend. He had 3 points in 4 games before he got hurt. Also in Winnipeg, Dawson Mercer (upper body) missed practice. The Jets visit Montreal on Tuesday.

Teuvo Teravainen (Blackhawks): he draws back into the lineup tonight against Colorado, with Jordan Greenway a healthy scratch.

A.J. Greer (Ducks): placed on IR with an upper body injury. Anaheim recalled Nico Myatovic from San Diego.

Pool take: Zegras and Benson are the two names that matter most here. Keep an eye on their status before their next game. Morrissey could be nice value on the blue line again once he's back.

We'll update if the last goalies get confirmed. Enjoy the games!
