Is WebPuck free?

Yes. Solo mode will always be free, with no contract, no commitment, no account and no payment card required. Online leagues are also free during the current alpha.

Do I need an account or a download?

You can start a single-player career directly in your browser without an account or a download. Multiplayer uses email sign-in with a one-time verification code.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. WebPuck works in the browser on desktop and phone. A wider screen gives you more room to compare players and adjust your lineup.

Can I run my own simulated hockey league with friends?

Yes. Create a private online league and invite your friends. WebPuck generates the schedule, simulates game days on the server and calculates the standings from the results. Each GM manages a club; CPU GMs handle unclaimed teams. You do not need to run a desktop simulator or enter scores by hand. The current alpha is free.

When do online games run?

Online game days simulate automatically at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time, using the America/Toronto time zone. Set your lineup before the game day begins. You can watch completed games afterward.

Where is my solo career saved?

Solo progress is saved in this browser on this device. Export a save in Settings before clearing browser data or moving to another device, then use Import save to restore it. Signing into multiplayer does not turn a local career into an online league.

Does WebPuck use real NHL teams and players?

No. WebPuck has fictional teams, players, and identities. Choose the North American circuit or the Québec circuit when creating a career. WebPuck is not an NHL-licensed game.

Can I control the players on the ice?

You manage the franchise and lineup. The simulation plays the game, and you watch a 2D replay. Pause, move along the timeline, or jump to the next highlight to inspect the action.

Is the game available in French?

Yes. The game and these guides are available in French and English.

Where can I report a bug or suggest a feature?
