Seattle KrakenPierre LeBrun said on TSN's Insider Trading that the Sharks have held talks with Detroit about defenseman Simon Edvinsson. It's only talks for now, but a young blueliner like him landing in San Jose would be worth watching for poolers.

On the Simon Edvinsson front, David Pagnotta still looks to St. Louis and Nashville. Other teams have checked in too, Seattle among them.
