Rumor
San Jose Sharks ·
Detroit Red Wings ·
St. Louis Blues ·
Nashville Predators · Seattle KrakenPierre LeBrun said on TSN's Insider Trading that the Sharks have held talks with Detroit about defenseman Simon Edvinsson. It's only talks for now, but a young blueliner like him landing in San Jose would be worth watching for poolers.
David Pagnotta sees St. Louis as a pretty aggressive team in the hunt for a defenseman. The question is whether the Blues would part with some of their young forwards to get it done.
On the Simon Edvinsson front, David Pagnotta still looks to St. Louis and Nashville. Other teams have checked in too, Seattle among them.
Rumor
Leo Carlsson · Shane Wright ·
Philadelphia Flyers · Anaheim Ducks · Seattle Kraken · Detroit Red WingsDavid Pagnotta (Daily Faceoff) notes the Flyers took a big swing at Leo Carlsson that didn't land, and they're still trying to add at least one center. A new pivot in Philly could change the picture for their wingers in your pool.
Jeff Marek (DFO Insider) says that when he hears the Flyers want a young center, he thinks of Seattle right away and wonders about Shane Wright. Philly was very interested in him back in his draft year.
David Pagnotta (DFO Insider) says the Flyers have targeted Simon Edvinsson, but he isn't sure they have enough in the tank to pull it off, maybe because their focus is on landing a center.
Rumor
Seattle KrakenDarren Dreger (TSN) says the Kraken have been hunting for a top-line scoring winger since July. Seattle would be willing to move one of its young centres in a deal. Comments relayed by NHL Rumour Report.
“top-line scoring winger”
Dreger repeated it on TSN's Insider Trading: the Kraken have wanted a top-line winger for a while, and it's no secret they would trade one of their young centres.
