A bunch of updates landed Friday afternoon, and a few of them are worth a look before you set your weekend lineups.
In Calgary, the Flames put goalie Devin Cooley on IR with a lower-body injury, and he's week to week. They recalled goalie Arsenii Sergeev and forward William Stromgren. Brennan Othmann (upper body) is out tonight and day to day.
Good news in Philly: Owen Tippett (upper body) was back at practice Friday, and so was Travis Konecny (lower body), though in a non-contact jersey. So Konecny isn't quite there yet.
In Minnesota, Joel Eriksson Ek (undisclosed) was seeing the doctor Friday, and his status for Sunday against Washington is up in the air. Mason Shaw was sent down to Iowa in the AHL.
In Dallas, Esa Lindell (lower body) and Radek Faksa have a chance to return Saturday against Columbus, and David Perron could make his Stars debut in that game. In St. Louis, Colton Parayko (upper body) missed practice but is probable Saturday against Detroit.
Two Saturday goalies are already confirmed: Tristan Jarry on Long Island in the afternoon, per Mike Babcock, and John Gibson against the Blues.
Pool take: keep Eriksson Ek in your lineup while you wait for news, but have a fill in ready for Sunday. Keep a close eye on Konecny and Tippett this weekend. Lindell, Faksa and Perron only matter in very deep leagues for now.
