# WebPuck hockey simulator: alpha development notes

> Follow WebPuck development: player guides, public league discovery, team claiming and improvements to how hockey action reads on the ice.

Short notes on what we are building and why it matters to your next franchise. These are development notes; availability can differ while an update is rolling out.

## A clearer first game

2026-09-22

New French and English guides walk through career creation, solo saves, online leagues and replay controls. A FAQ answers the setup questions, and real gameplay images and a short clip show what to expect.

The guides are readable before any interactive elements load, so you can look up a step and get back to your team.

## Find a league and see which clubs are open

2026-09-21

Work on the multiplayer lobby adds public-league search and prioritizes leagues with open spots. A dedicated team-choice screen separates available clubs from teams already claimed.

The aim is to make the path from joining a league to managing your own team easier to follow.

## More readable hockey action

2026-09-21

Recent work focuses on puck battles, faceoffs, hits and finishes near the net, along with fallen-player poses.

The goal is to make the replay easier to read as hockey: where the puck is, which player contests it and how a scoring chance develops.
